Russia massacres Saudi Arabia 5-0

from KARIM KADDOURI in Moscow, Russia
MOSCOW – HOST nation Russia started the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) 2018 World Cup on high note following their 5-0 massacre of Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening in the capital, Moscow.
Five goals from double scorer Denis Cheryshev, Yuri Gazinskiy, Aleksandr Golovin and another gem of a goal from substitute Artem Dzyuba were enough to give the Russians the much needed morale boost in this global football showcase Group A encounter.
While the Russians have started on high note, all eyes from the African continent will be looking forward to Egypt’s encounter on Friday against Uruguay at the Ekaterinburg Arena in Ekaterinburg.
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool is expected to spearhead the north Africans when they battle out with the unpredictable south Americans- Uruguay.
